Terms of use

Effective 27 October 2026. Filehaven is a Prachalit software product. These terms apply to the Filehaven website, account and Mac app. Questions: rb@hathtech.com.

Plans and billing

Monthly access is USD5 per month and annual access is USD35 per year, before applicable taxes. Subscriptions renew at the displayed interval until cancelled. Dodo Payments shows the final total and billing terms before payment and acts as merchant of record. A checkout redirect alone does not grant a license; payment must be verified. You can manage billing and cancel future renewals from your account’s Dodo portal. Cancellation normally preserves access through the verified paid period.

The one-time plan

USD50 is a one-time charge, before applicable taxes. It includes continued use of eligible Filehaven releases and one calendar year of updates from purchase. Release eligibility is based on our recorded publication date. Eligible releases continue to work after that year; later releases may require another purchase. This plan does not promise all future releases, unlimited future updates, a new operating system version’s compatibility or lifetime support. There is no recurring charge for the one-time plan.

Account and activation

Keep your password and license key private. You are responsible for activity using your account. Do not resell or publicly distribute your key, circumvent access checks or misrepresent payment status. Activation requires internet access. Signed activation certificates can allow offline use for up to seven days, bounded by the paid period for subscriptions. Periodic license verification is required. Refunded, disputed or fraudulent payments may result in revoked access.

System requirements and availability

The regular app requires macOS14 or later. Apple Intelligence features require macOS26 or later, an eligible Mac, enabled Apple Intelligence and a ready on-device model. Check compatibility before purchase. Features may be unavailable while Apple’s model is downloading, the system is unsupported, permission is revoked or a file format is unsupported. Developer preview builds are identified as such and are not represented as notarized releases.

Your files and cleanup choices

You choose connected folders and approve file operations. Review suggestions and maintain independent backups. Model output may be incomplete or incorrect. Organization uses a preview and controlled destinations. AI cleanup collects files into Cleaned By AI before any later disposal policy. Manual review is the default. Automatic collection, timed Trash and permanent deletion are separate choices. Permanent deletion bypasses Trash and cannot be restored by Filehaven. The app cannot recover files deleted outside its available recovery mechanisms.

Expiry and recovery

When paid access ends, licensed features may stop until access is renewed. Recovery and undo remain available. Expiry does not delete your personal files, empty the review folder or authorize cleanup. If your update period expires, continue using an eligible release rather than installing a later release without entitlement.

Support and refunds

Contact support with your account email and order reference for billing problems or refund requests. Requests are reviewed with Dodo Payments according to applicable law and transaction circumstances. Statutory consumer rights remain unaffected. Do not send passwords, full card numbers or private file contents to support unless a specific secure diagnostic process has been agreed.

Responsible use and limitations

Use the app only on files you have the right to access and manage. The software is provided subject to applicable law; uninterrupted or error-free operation is not guaranteed. No term excludes rights, obligations or liability that cannot legally be excluded. We may update the service to address security, compatibility and operational issues. Material plan changes will not silently alter an already paid period.
